Dr. rer. nat. Matthias Grob, M.Sc. (Physics) is a German Patent Attorney. After graduation in physics and postdoctoral research at the Göttingen University, he started as a trainee patent attorney in a patent law firm in Hamburg. He completed further training periods at the regional court of Hamburg, and at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office and the Federal Patent Court in Munich. Meanwhile he was working as an independent patent counsel.
At Sonderhoff & Einsel Europe, Dr. Matthias Grob advises in all areas of intellectual property law, mainly in the area of patent, trademark and design law, and is representing our clients before the German authorities and courts responsible for intellectual property.
He speaks German and English fluently and has basic knowledge of Dutch, Spanish, and French.
Dr. Matthias Grob is a member of the German Federal association of patent attorneys (Bundesverband der Patentanwälte e.V.) and the German Physical Society (Deutschen Physikalischen Gesellschaft e.V).
